Bamboo Lamp Base

At LAMP LDN LIVING we work closely with independent designers, artisans and manufacturers to sustainably create unique pieces that will stand the test of time, both in terms of style and quality. These distinctive lamp bases were created in close collaboration with a small Welsh, family-run lighting business, now in their third generation of family dealership. Each base has been lovingly designed and hand turned from wood to create its unique bamboo shape, before being hand lacquered and wired with a sustainably sourced natural linen and raw cotton electric cord. The lamp bases are available in a range of three vibrant colours and require a bayonet bulb.

For this lamp base we would recommend a shade of tall: 20-30cm base diameter and small: 20-25cm base diameter. It is always good to consider where your lamp will be positioned, as there are no firm rules when it comes to the size of the right shade for each base, however the above should be a useful guideline.
