The makers of this collection are a family business who have been working with clay and zellige since 1978 in Fez, Morocco. Each piece is entirely handmade in their workshop by artisans who carry on an ancestral know-how, using traditional techniques while adding a contemporary touch.
The process starts with hand-shaping the clay, followed by natural drying before the first firing. Then, each piece is glazed and hand-painted in a traditional way, before going back into the kiln to ensure durability and reveal its unique finishes. As everything is handmade, each creation is one of a kind.
